Caesium is a Metal which can combust spontaneously with air. It is used for atomic clocks.

Never call Caesius fat, or you’re in trouble. It is actually quite athletic: It can hit a traffic light with a tomato from half a mile, making it turn to red. Also it is obsessed with the clock: It asks everyone what time it is. Who can’t answer quickly enough, will get pelted with whatever is lying around.

Iodine

Iodine is well known for its use in desinfectants: it leaves a puple stain. The lack of iodine can cause a goitre.

Iodina the monster has several neuroses: Obsessed with cleaning she has to desinfect everything all the time by spraying her purple fume. Furthermore she’s hypochondriac and paranoid. She can make you believe any conspiracy theory.

Cobalt

When cobalt was discovered, people took it for iron bewitched by a goblin. Kobold means goblin in German. It can be found in pigments like the famous cobalt blue. Cobald the monster is a mysterious little fellow who likes to play pranks on others. When spoken to he doesn’t answer, just looks flabbergasted.

It can be found in rocket fuels, bullet-proof vests and in detergents. Boro the monster always keeps its cool. Some think he’s arrogant some call him „boring boron“. Sulfur used to be considered as the element from hell because of its odor. However, it is very useful for example in fertilizers or black powder.

Sulfus the monster is a little stinker that nobody wants to play with. He farts often and loves to crack dirty jokes. Therefore his true qualities are often underestimated.

Potassium

Potassium is an ambivalent element: highly reactive on the one hand – it explodes on contact with water – on the other hand every living being needs it for survival. Kali the monster is a manic creature. Quarrelsome and vengeful it finds a fly in every ointment and can drive othe monsters up the wall. But whoever is in real need can count on her.

Krypton is a very rare noble gas. It can be found in lamps, flashes and lazers.

Krypto the monster likes to keep hidden and spy on other monsters. Is he just a crazy stalker or does he have a secret mission? Like the other noble gases he doesn’t have arms, instead he can move things by pure mindpower.

Fluorine

Fluorine is the most agressive of all Elements. It reacts with everything and everybody. Like a predator it permanently wants to steal another element’s electron.

Flurax the monster is a real bandit – wild and dangerous, impetuous and greedy. Always on the hunt it looks out for new victims. But whoever manages to tame the beast, can make good use of it.

The soft metal calcium is in our bones as well as in chalk, marble and lime. Calcius the monster is a moody but hard-working builder. Once work-mania has laid hold of him, one better doesn’t get in his way.

Carbon

Without carbon there would be no life. There are more than 16 million known carbon compounds. It can be dirty like coal or precious like diamond. Carbo the monster is a real party animal. Knows everybody and everything and always has the latest gossip to tell. She is very creative and has good ideas, which fail quite often, unfortunately.
